JC Gallegos builds companies at the intersection of AI, creativity and culture. He is the founder and CEO of PUNX, an AI-native creative agency and production studio based in Makati, working with global FMCG, fintech, telecom and entertainment brands - among them Procter & Gamble, San Miguel, Petron and JTI - across APAC, North America, Europe, and the Middle East & Africa.
He built PUNX around a specific argument about where creative work breaks: "We've never seen a lack of creative ambition. What we're seeing is a system that can't keep up with how marketing actually works now. The tools will keep changing, but the system you build around them is what determines scale."
He writes on AI video production, creative strategy, and how brands build production systems that hold up at scale.
Video production A video production brief tells the team what to make, for whom, in which formats, by when, and inside which rules. When the video is made with AI, the brief carries more of the job, and why that is is its own story. This is the template: what to put in it, section… Continue reading Video Production Brief: What to Include When the Shoot Is AI
Events Whether an event in the Philippines needs a special permit depends less on its size than on where it happens and what happens at it. The city issues the permit, but the offices it asks you to clear first are the real checklist. This is how it works in Makati, where we are based,… Continue reading Special Event Permits in the Philippines: What the LGU Will Ask For

These are the 2026 numbers from the platforms’ own help pages, checked on 14 September 2026, plus a way to make one campaign fit all of them. The specs, from the source Platform and placement Ratio Size… Continue reading Social Media Video Sizes 2026: One Campaign, Every Format
Animation Most 2D-or-3D decisions get made on taste and paid for in the schedule. The brief usually settles it earlier: how exact the product has to look, how many versions the campaign needs, and whether a character has to outlive this campaign. How each one gets made 2D animation creates movement in a flat… Continue reading 2D vs 3D Animation for Ads: Which One Fits the Brief
Events A company Christmas party gets booked in reverse. The date goes first, then the room, then everything that has to fit inside the room. December 2026 carries five holidays and special days, so the date is where most of the planning happens. Fix the date against the December calendar The 2026 holidays are… Continue reading Company Christmas Party Planning in the Philippines: What to Book When
Events Search “best events agency Philippines” or “top events agency Philippines” and you get lists. Lists are easy to publish and hard to use, because the agency that suits a 3,000-person conference is rarely the one you want for a mall activation. This is the other thing — the questions that actually sort a shortlist,… Continue reading How to Choose the Best Events Agency in the Philippines
Regulated Categories If your category is regulated, “can AI make this?” is the wrong question. It can. The question your legal team will actually ask is different: can you prove how it was made, and can you prove it a year from now? That is a production question, not a technology one. This page is… Continue reading Brand-Safe AI Production for Regulated Industries
The Comparison AI production and traditional production differ on four things: cost, timeline, how many versions you can make, and who owns the result. AI wins decisively on the first three. On the fourth — ownership, talent likeness, and disclosure — traditional production is still the safer route, and for some briefs it is the… Continue reading AI vs Traditional Video Production: What Actually Changes
The Pipeline Most explanations of AI video production describe the tools. That is the least interesting part. What decides whether the work is usable is the workflow around the tools — where a human intervenes, what gets approved before anything is generated, and who signs off before it reaches a client. This is how the… Continue reading The AI Video Workflow, Stage by Stage
Why Brands Switch The marketing world is changing faster than the old creative model can handle. Brands need fresh, relevant content across Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and email — daily, not quarterly. Traditional agencies, built for the era of one TV commercial and a few print ads, can’t keep up. This is the shift driving brands… Continue reading Why Brands Are Switching to AI-Powered Content Creation
